Bobbie Braun has lived on Long Island most of her life.  Always moving east, she settled in Bridgehampton, drawn by the purity of light and open space, as so many artists before her.

Her passion for fine art and painting with oils on canvas evolved with her life on the East End.

Her varied and eclectic life has led her to fulfill a myriad of businesses, all of which have been extensions of her creative need for self-expression. Braun Design Inc., her full service interior design firm and her line of hand crafted fine metals and gem jewelry, allowed her to accumulate her knowledge of form, textures, and most importantly, the interaction of light and the power of color.

Her mission is to stay with her art, no matter how busy or distracting life can be, to always seek ways to practice discipline, take chances, and experiment, by choosing new paths and new techniques.
